13 Sep Cheryl and Chris’ June Wedding
Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, was the hometown setting for the wedding of Cheryl Ann and Christopher. Cheryl is a very creative do-it-yourself kind of bride, and had been planning details of her dream wedding for a full year. The weekend started out with a rehearsal, followed by a great dinner, and then bowling at the local bowling alley. Everyone had a blast!
While Cheryl and her bridesmaids were at the hair salon, many out of town guests spent Saturday morning strolling the old town square going in and out of the antique shops.
Bride and Groom were married at 5:30 in the evening at her family’s small historic church. Cheryl wanted it to be bright, and filled with light. Her colors were yellow and black, and made an elegant look for the wedding, and a very fun color scheme for the reception. J Ross, of Norton’s did the fantastic flowers at both church and Providence Hall, the reception site, which was on the old town square.
This was a true family event with everyone pitching in to help. Cheryl’s mom even made homemade jam for each guest to take home. The logo on the labels were designed by Cheryl and could be found throughout the event on programs, napkins and even maps for all guests to use while in Lawrenceburg.
After a full evening of dancing and eating down home food, Bride and Groom said their good-byes, and headed off to the beach.
